A form of Vinyasa Yoga which creates the space in our practice for us to dive deeper into self inquiry and reflection. Every pose and movement is intentional and purposeful, and provides us an opportunity to explore the nuances in the body and mind in a given moment. We focus as much on the transition between one movement and the next, their relationship with breath and alignment, as we do with the asana. Slow Flow encompasses our innate need to slow down in this busy world.
Based on the teaching of BKS Iyengar, this class focuses on alignment and sequencing of the postures and utilises props to enhance the postures. Specific spinal movements are incorporated into this class to increase mobility and stability of the spine.
