The word ‘henna’ refers to the Persian name for the plant that this natural dye derives from. This flowering shrub is native to Australia, Asia and the Mediterranean coast of Africa.  Painting the body with henna is rich with symbolism and meaning. For the pregnant woman, having her belly painted with specific symbols to offer protection for herself and her baby.

Inviting you to a evening of Restorative Yoga, with henna art on your stomach and a closing circle. Optional to have your photo's taken by our in house photographer after and keep this sacred image during your birth.
